The Hydrocephalus and Neuroscience Institute (HNI) was founded in 2006 to create a community of support for individuals and families affected by neurological conditions such as hydrocephalus, spina bifida, and head injuries. HNI has partnered with several like-minded organizations and contributed funds towards various initiatives, developed programs to prevent and address neurological conditions, and advocated for the importance of FA standards globally.
HNI’s work has raised awareness about helmet use, provided education and travel opportunities for residents, and collaborative with neuro nurse to improve neurotrauma Care. HNI remains committed to its mission of improving the lives of those affected by neurological conditions and continues to work towards making a meaningful difference in the world.
Through our various projects and initiatives, we are committed to making a significant impact on the communities we serve. We contribute funds towards programs such as the salt-Folic Acid project in Andhra Pradesh and the Vietnam micronutrient study, and we are proud to partner with organizations like GAPSBIF and G4 Alliance to further our causes.
Our current efforts include developing programs to prevent and address head injuries, spina bifida, and other neurological conditions. We promote helmet use, provide education and travel opportunities for residents, and collaborate with nurses to develop guidelines for neurotrauma nursing. We also work with the Rotary and Lions Clubs to raise awareness and prevent spina bifida and head injuries through various programs.
At HNI, we are committed to advocating for the importance of FA standards globally and ensuring that everyone has access to this essential nutrient. We are partnering with AIIMS to modify India’s MDR for Folic acid requirements to achieve this goal.
Overall, our organization is dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by neurological conditions. We welcome your support in our efforts, and together, we can make a meaningful difference in the world. Thank you for your interest in our work, and we invite you to join us in our mission.
