Our team proudly presented our research on the Fortified Salt with Folic Acid study at the 30th International Conference on Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus. The event was held at the AVANTE Hotel, Kuala Lumpur,





We attended and presented our papers at NeuroTrauma 2024, held in Cambridge, UK, from 2nd to 5th September 2024, showcasing our research and engaging with global experts in the field of neurotrauma.





We organized various programs to raise awareness about the prevention of Spina Bifida. These initiatives focused on educating communities, especially women of reproductive age, about the importance of folic acid and its role in preventing neural tube defects.





As part of our project to prevent Spina Bifida, we selected eight villages in Andhra Pradesh, India, to distribute fortified salt enriched with folic acid. The initiative aimed to improve folate levels among the villagers. Before and after the distribution, we tested their folate levels, and the results showed significant positive benefits, highlighting the potential impact of fortified






A one-day seminar on Spina Bifida was held on 10th August 2022 at the AU Convention Hall, Beach Road, Visakhapatnam. The event saw active participation from medical college students and featured knowledgeable and eminent speakers from the medical field and NGO organizations, fostering meaningful discussions on Spina Bifida awareness and prevention.






As part of Neurotrauma 2022, a head injury awareness walkathon was organized, drawing participation from over 400 individuals. The walk began at RK Beach, creating a vibrant and impactful event.
